AFTERNOON CONCERT - 14.30 hours (besloten): Concert by the Dutch Mandolin Chamber Orchestra "HET CONSORT" conducted by Alex Timmerman in the ‘JOHANNES CHURCH', Naarderstraat 5, Laren, Noord Holland (Netherlands). Mandolin soloist: SEBASTIAAN DE GREBBER. The programme includes compositions by a.o. the Italian composers Raffaele Calace (Concerto), Arrigo Cappelleti and Giuseppe Manente, as well as contemporary compositions as ‘The Legend of Princess Noccalula’
by the American composer John Craton (for mandolin solo and Mandolin Chamber Orchestra) and the ‘Variations on a Basque melody’ by Victor Kioulaphides (scored for mandolin Orchestra by John Craton).
