Arpino - Sunday 3rd of August - The Fondazione Mastroianni - Museum Embergher-Cerrone in Arpino (Italy) organizes: "Concert for them …… Luigi Embergher, Domenico e Giannino Cerrone, Pasquale Pecoraro, Benedetto Macioce Alfredo Rea, Remesio Zaccardelli, Luigi Manente, and all the others masters of lutery who lived in Arpino". An evening concert by THE CONSORT with a program that will include (among other works) compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach (Brandenburg Concerto No. 3), Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, Raffaele Calace (Concerto per Mandolino No. 1 op. 113) and Jurriaan Andriessen. Mandolin soloist in Calace´s Mandolin Concerto is the Dutch mandolin virtuoso Sebastiaan de Grebber. The concert will be given at the Piazza Municipio in Arpino (Frosnione) at 21.30 hours.
